Due to growth in our Disability Accommodation Services team, ONCALL is seeking an experienced SLO Coordinator. about your role

As our SLO Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to our Accommodation Services team and will manage a cluster of SIL Properties. You will provide comprehensive support to ONCALL staff and to people with a range of disabilities, as well as being supported yourself by teams of behaviour and support professionals in ONCALL’s Head Office in Surrey Hills.

This role will have oversight of 2 brand-new High Physical Support apartments in Maribyrnong and Williams Landing. Responsibility includes managing Concierge supports (otherwise known as Shared Onsite Support) across the 2 apartment buildings, as well as individual supports for those tenants that require it. You will be involved in designing and setting up how supports will work, setting up of the Onsite Overnight Assistance (OOA) Apartments and development for the staff team.

Reporting to the SLO Services Manager, your role will entail:

  • Supervising teams of professional Support Workers in the provision of quality person-centred services
  • Being actively involved with the development, implementation and review of support plans required for residents
  • Coordinate the delivery of daily living supports enabling residents to achieve their goals through the implementation of their NDIS plans
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating effective participant support and service delivery
  • Coordinate team processes, including client reviews, team meetings and program reviews
  • Ensuring that administration tasks in all residentials are of a high quality and meet compliance requirements
  • Actively drive professional development—for your staff and for yourself.

To be considered for this opportunity, all you require is:

  • Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or other relevant areas
  • Experience leading teams of staff
  • Experience in a residential setting
  • Project management, negotiation and problem-solving skills ideal
  • Experience working with people with multiple and complex disability and behaviour support requirements
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (Written and Oral)
  • A positive, friendly and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Capacity to work effectively in leadership positions
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Administration of Medication (or willing to obtain)
  • Manual Handling (or willing to obtain)
  • COVID Vaccine evidence.
