As our Supported Living Options (SLO) Coordinator, you will be a key contributor to our Accommodation Services team and will manage a cluster of SIL Properties. You will provide comprehensive support to ONCALL staff and to people with a range of disabilities, as well as being supported yourself by our behaviour and support professionals in ONCALL’s Head Office.
Reporting to the SLO Services Managers, your role will entail:
- Supervising teams of professional Support Workers in a small cluster of SIL houses, to provide quality services that are underpinned by active support practices.
- Being actively involved with the development, implementation and review of individual support plans including health and wellbeing needs.
- Coordinating the delivery of daily living supports, enabling residents to achieve their goals through the implementation of their NDIS plans.
- Developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating all team processes, including client reviews, team meetings and program reviews.
- Ensuring that administration tasks in all homes are of a high quality and meet compliance requirements.
- Actively driving professional development—for your staff and for yourself.
- Participating in an After-Hours roster providing support and guidance to Support Workers after hours and on weekends.
To be considered for this opportunity you require:
- Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or other relevant areas.
- A deep understanding and experience in the implementation of the NDIS Practice Standards, and Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
- Capacity to manage and develop high functioning teams and well developed skills in a leadership position.
- Strong experience working in supported accommodation settings for people with a disability.
- Experience working with people with multiple and complex disability and behaviour support requirements.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication skills including ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve improved outcomes to the people we support.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Evidence of three COVID 19 vaccinations.
