Odyssey House Victoria (OHV) is a place of hope and positive change for individuals working towards breaking their pattern of addiction. OHV’s adult residential rehabilitation program at Lower Plenty provides live-in treatment for individuals, couples and parents with their children (aged 0-12 years old). Operating as a therapeutic community, the values-based program provides a structured environment where staff work together to help people make changes and choices on their pathway to recovery.
The key purpose of the position is to support clients in residential treatment in establishing healthier lifestyles free of problematic alcohol and drug use, fostering the process of mutual self-help recovery.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate teamwork, empathy and work within a strengths-based approach.
This position maybe required to rotate to our Admissions Team (based in Richmond) for up to 6-months for the purpose of multi-skilling and developing a comprehensive understanding of our Residential Services program as Therapeutic Community.

OHV requires staff in clinical positions to have the following competencies (or their equivalent). Where people do not already have these competencies, OHV will invest in the staff’s professional development by providing them through our registered training organisation (RTO).
