Odyssey NSW has an opportunity to join our dynamic and growing AOD team in our residential centres in 2 exciting new roles you can make your own.

Odyssey NSW is a leading provider of Alcohol and Other Drugs treatment and support in NSW and our residential TC’s provide a holistic range of supports to those seeking hope and change in their lives.

We are seeking 2 experienced and innovative professionals to develop and implement our new Continuing Care program providing high quality ‘before and aftercare’ to the people we support.

Continuing Care will provide a range of supports including AOD treatment, group facilitation, & case management across a range of life domains

This role also provides individual AOD and wellbeing recovery one-to-one treatment, care planning, care coordination and case management including working with external services and providers where required to further client individual goals.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Relevant VET or tertiary qualification.
  • Significant experience supporting persons with alcohol and other drugs support needs, mental health support needs and/or co-existing support needs.
  • Demonstrated experience providing case management/care coordination in a similar context and environment.
  • Demonstrable experience working in team environment with internal and/or external stakeholders to deliver coordinated support.
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking brief and comprehensive assessment as well as ongoing assessment of client support needs.
  • Demonstrated experience developing care plans.
  • Experience working within a non-government AOD and/or MH environment.
  • Experience in provision of one-to-one support for people with AOD and/or Mental Health support needs.
  • Computer literacy including understanding of MS Office Suite and use of Client Management Systems.
  • Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
  • Understanding of Privacy Act and its practical implementation.
  • Hold a current NSW Driver's License.
  • COVID vaccinated.
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a Criminal History Check and Working With Children clearance for paid employment.
  • Unlimited right to live and work in Australia.
