Fundraising and Community Coordinator

Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation

Organisational overview

Established in 2000, the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) has grown to become Australia’s leading independent body dedicated to funding national ovarian cancer research.

With the support of the Australian community, major corporate partners, philanthropic supporters, and the extraordinary OCRF Ambassadors, the OCRF is now Australia’s pre-eminent charitable foundation dedicated to raising funds for the most innovative ovarian cancer research with the most significant long-term impact.

Our goals are to raise the current 5-year survival rate from (a dismal) 49% to greater than 90%, and to provide hope, advocacy, agency and engagement for our community of survivors – with government, funders, collaborators, partners and the medical research community.

We are:

  • Investing in medical research to develop a reliable and non-invasive early detection test, where no such test currently exists.
  • Supporting researchers focused on personalised treatment options to extend the quality and duration of the lives of people with ovarian cancer.
  • Focused on prevention and, ultimately, cure, of the most lethal and underfunded gynaecological cancer for women, girls, and all people with ovaries.

The role: Fundraising & Community Coordinator

The Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) is seeking a passionate and dynamic fundraiser to fill the newly-created role of Fundraising & Community Coordinator.
