We have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Dietitian to join our team. Working closely with a team of allied health professionals, to deliver services to residents with disability living in supported independent living accommodation and in the community in Perth metro area.
Reporting to the Senior Dietitian, Nulsen therapy. Some of your duties include:
- Delivery of high-quality nutrition and dietetic services to a clinical caseload including clients with chronic and complex conditions under the NDIS.
- Management and prioritisation of a varied caseload.
- Complete assessments and reporting on a regular and timely basis.
- Work closely with clients to access their NDIS support and implement their individualised NDIS plan.
- Work with a team of allied health professionals and communicate effectively to provide quality service.
- Attend and participate in case conferences and team meeting where required.
- Make appropriate referrals to internal and external services.
What you will need:
- Full membership with the Dietitians Australia (Registered APD).
- Strong commitment to enabling people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations.
- Some knowledge and experience in disability, particularly intellectual disability, mental health, and aged care.
What is desirable:
- 1 year experience as a dietitian; however new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Some experience working with adults with disabilities within the context of the NDIS.
You will also need the following compliances:
- Must hold Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia.
- Current Australian driver’s license.
- NDIS Worker’s Screening Check (to be completed through Dot Direct.)
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Provide First Aid (HLTFAID011).
