This is a stimulating new role that has been introduced to NT PHN to support our commitment to data-driven, values- and outcomes-based commissioning. This role is a blank canvas, with the right person able to shape how the role delivers on its key objectives. The scope of this role is a rare opportunity within this sector.
This role will be working across the NT health sector to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders. This role is required to establish and support culturally responsive and respectful data sharing arrangements. This includes working with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services to understand the challenges and barriers they face with regards to utilising existing data systems and repositories, and work with them to find cooperative and mutually beneficial solutions. In this role you will also support NT PHN's strategic use of data in analysis and decision-making, ensuring the organisation has access to, and utilises data to direct its funding to areas of prioritised need. This role requires a strong understanding of Indigenous data sovereignty, health informatics and data governance and strong stakeholder engagement capability.
This role will suit a professional with demonstrated strength in stakeholder engagement, who can influence change at strategic and operational levels. You will also have extensive high-level experience with health informatics, strategy development and can manage multiple tasks and projects within a small team. If you can think strategically and engage with a broad range of stakeholders in a meaningful way, this is the job for you!
NT PHN is committed to undertaking all work within a culturally inclusive, sensitive and safe framework that supports Reconciliation. The NT PHN Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan shows our commitment and dedication to embedding reconciliation initiatives into business and our everyday work.
