Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory

The Chamber

Join us today to drive impact in the local business community? The Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory (CCNT) is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to connect local businesses impacted by crime and anti-social behaviour to the relevant support networks available.

The Chamber has been the leading advocate for businesses across the region to tirelessly champion economic viability on local, national, and international fronts while providing steadfast support to our 1200+ members. Come and contribute to the bigger picture of making the NT an even better place to be.

The Program and Role

The Business Victim Support Program (BVSP) is managed and facilitated through the Chamber of Commerce NT and funded by the Northern Territory Government Department – Territory Families to September 2025. The program was initiated due to rising safety and security concerns from Territory businesses and Chamber of Commerce NT Members.

In this important role you will build connections between local businesses and existing services such as Victims of Crime, Smarter Justice for Safer Communities Campaign, Government Grants, local Youth programs, Local Jobs Program, Restorative Justice Conferencing and more.

You will be proactive in establishing and maintaining business relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and your authenticity, empathy and diplomacy will be critical when liaising with stakeholders on sensitive subjects.

Come and make this new role yours. Do not fear, you are not alone, you have a buddy role in Darwin who has been paving the way and will be able to provide ideas and share experiences.
