NSW Rural Doctors Network (RDN) is seeking General Practitioners or Hospital doctors who are interested in a new opportunity or starting their career in General Practice.

We work with practices located throughout rural NSW in MMM2+ locations and all ACCHSs (Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services).

About the role

The Hay Medical Centre has an exciting new opportunity for General Practitioner to bring their skills to the outback & make a real difference in the farming community of Hay and surrounding areas.

This is a great opportunity for an overseas Doctor to start General practice and achieve fellowship.

As a doctor registered with RDN you will receive guidance and support on:

• Pro-active recruitment assistance

• Scheduling interviews and personalised support
• Information on rural communities
• Guidance on DPA, the 19AB moratorium, eligible work locations for your visa type and residency status
• Funding to undertake site visits, observerships, and relocation grants for eligible locations
• Transitioning from the public hospital system into general practice
• Accessing a Medicare provider number (including MDRAP)
• Return of service placements
• Funding for education and continued professional development
• Ongoing post-placement support
