The Program Delivery Office in the Government Relations Branch is responsible for delivering key inter-governmental reform projects and cross-portfolio program commitments on behalf of the Ministry of Health. The unit is situated within Government Relations Branch, NSW Ministry of Health.

We are seeking highly motivated Senior Policy Officers (x2) to join the Program Delivery Office to work across dynamic portfolios as outlined below. 

Royal Commission (Role 1)

In this role you will be implementing a significant reform agenda as part of the NSW Government’s response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

Duties include:

  • Coordinating and undertaking programs, projects and activities, research and provide advice in relation to intergovernmental issues for NSW Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies 
  • Designing and delivering priority policy projects to prevent and respond to violence, abuse and neglect with a particular focus on services for victims and survivors of sexual abuse and children with problematic or harmful sexual behaviours.

Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Stream (Role 2)

In this role you will be implementing programs of work funded through the Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence National Partnership Agreement, $140 million Commonwealth and NSW Government multi-year funding commitment.

Duties include:

  • Developing and supporting the implementation of best practice policies, programs, projects, and activities for the Ministry of Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives. 
  • Designing and delivering on priority projects to prevent and respond to violence, abuse and neglect with a particular focus on improving victim safety and reduction of family violence reoffending.

Both roles attract a generous remuneration of $116,211 – $128,061 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading, Clerk Grade 9/10.
