Stroke Foundation is a national charity that partners with the community to prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery. We stand alongside survivors of stroke and their families, healthcare professionals and researchers. We build community awareness and foster new thinking and innovative treatments. We support survivors on their journey to live the best possible life after stroke.
The Public Affairs and Media Division is responsible for the organisation’s profile building, stakeholder communications, government relations and advocacy. The team ensures that the organisation can further its mission, and that our profile and reputation is enhanced and grows. The team is responsible for informing and driving health policy aligned with the organisation’s mission to prevent stroke, save lives, and enhance recovery. These efforts position Stroke Foundation as the voice of stroke in Australia.
Reporting to the National Manager Public Affairs and Media and working closely with other members of the Public Affairs and Media Team, the Policy and Advocacy Officer will support the delivery of the Stroke Foundation’s public affairs, advocacy, and government relations activities.
