NRCH provides a range of medical, allied health, dental and community services to clients from all backgrounds.

If you are an experienced receptionist seeking a new challenge this is the role for you. We are looking for a customer focused receptionist who can engage and support stakeholders in the Oral Health Program and the where required within programs and services of NRCH. As the first point of contact our reception team support the client journey from registration through to the completion of their oral health needs in the hands of our passionate clinicians. Receptionists play a crucial role in the delivery of high quality care to clients of NRCH. Our Receptionists ensure all patients receive excellent customer service in a professional and caring environment and are aware that confidentiality is of the utmost importance. Our Receptionists work collaboratively with our medical and oral health teams, as well as all other programs and services of NRCH.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all clients, visitors and staff of NRCH both in person and via telephone.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client information.
  • Client payments, appointments, interpreter bookings and enquiries are handled efficiently and accurately within required systems, including referrals
  • Undertake a range of administrative tasks required to support the successful running of Reception and clinical services
  • Program administration duties are carried out proactively and professionally to support the program, including end of day financial reconciliation and other duties as required

Key Selection Criteria

  • Excellent customer service and complaint handling experience
  • Knowledge of health sector an advantage
  • Relationship building with a variety of people
  • At least 12 months experience in a similar role within a public or private healthcare setting
  • High level of computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and databases

Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category their position falls under. All offers of employment are subject to provision of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check, a valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (if applicable to the role).
