Project Coordinator - Redevelopment of Dental care in Aged care

Project Coordinator: Redevelopment of Dental care in Aged care (fixed term part time) will work closely with the Program Manager for Oral Health, Senior Dentist, Dental Hygienists/Oral Health Therapists, Clinical Team Leader and financial advisors within NRCH to coordinate the project. The role will be required to liaise and report to key board members both internal and external. You will be required to ensure the project deliverables are provided on time and on budget.

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing Terms of Reference, meeting timetables and documentation
  • Update of Service Agreements with Aged Care Facilities
  • Undertake extensive consultation with executive, staff, funding contributors, and other identified groups, documenting and making recommendations on the proposed project from this consultation
  • Support and complete documentation of a project plan including timelines and milestone
  • Ensure that external service provider contracts are developed and signed, including a timeline and process for regular review and monitoring, under direction from the Executive Manager Primary Care, Quality and Chief Nurse and Program Manager for Oral Health
  • Oversee and ensure successful completion of the deliverables of the project plan to ensure timelines and budget are met
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with key internal and external stakeholders to build effective partnerships, including strong commitment to consultation
  • Coordinate the development of a Model of care which outlines the projects scope
  • Maintain current, comprehensive, and accurate documentation and meet internal and external reporting requirements for relevant governing bodies
  • Coordinate the rebranding of the project with consultation from the community, stakeholders and staff
  • Investigate financial targets, and long-term feasibility

Key Selection Criteria

Essential qualifications, attributes and skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the health sector with a thorough understanding of the workings of State government departments.
  • Experience in managing capital development projects

Please note it is a requirement for all employees of North Richmond Community Health to demonstrate evidence of mandatory immunisations/vaccinations prior to commencement of employment, based on the Immunisation Category their position falls under. All offers of employment are subject to provision of a satisfactory National Criminal History Check and a valid Working with Children Check.
