About the role

The Service Delivery Officer provides operational and administrative support to ensure the effective delivery and continuous improvement of services across the Insight, Performance and Digital Services (IPDS) portfolio. This position requires a highly motivated person with excellent planning, task management and time management skills.

The role plays a key part in maintaining service continuity, enhancing responsiveness to user needs, and supporting cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality digital and information services.

What will my typical week look like?

• Provide proactive administrative and operational support to the Service Delivery Manager and broader IPDS team, ensuring effective coordination of daily activities and alignment with service delivery priorities.
• Coordinate and monitor service requests to ensure timely completion, appropriate escalation and accurate documentation, including incident logs, change records and service communications.
• Support vendor engagement through contract administration, meeting coordination and preparation, issue follow-up, and the maintenance of accurate records.
• Use stakeholder engagement skills to support vendor engagement including contract administration, organising and preparing meetings and maintaining records.
• Assist in preparing service metrics and reports, identifying trends and issues across the IPDS function, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

• 2-3 years experience in health, social sciences or service delivery environments
• Confident using new technologies and improving processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to build effective internal and external relationships
• Experience using Microsoft365, Smartsheet and service delivery tools
