The Human Resources Manager will partner with our leadership team, to drive talent acquisition and retention in conjunction with driving organisation change. They will be an influential, strategic leader with deep expertise in organisational growth and development.
A strong focus on workforce structures will play a high priority as the business matures.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Business Systems, they will be responsible for overseeing the HR team, facilitating key people & culture functions, including recruitment and onboarding experience, performance management, remuneration and benefits.
Managing a team of 4 they will provide clear guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace issues whilst providing leadership and support to their team.

We are North Western Melbourne Primary Health Network (NWMPHN), Victoria's largest independent, locally governed and run, not-for-profit PHN, dedicated to improving primary health care in our community.
What are PHNs?
PHNs have been established with two key objectives:
- increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of services for community members, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes
- improving coordination of care to ensure people receive the right care in the right place, at the right time
A typical week may include:
- Remuneration - Consulting with stakeholders on appropriate salary bands for each job role or working with Stakeholders to review individuals' remuneration within the salary band
- Leadership & Management - Manage the HR Team to ensure the team deliverables are of high standard and within agreed timelines
- Workforce Structures - provide support and guidance to leaders on team structures
- Change - demonstrated experience in leading and implementing organisation changes that supports individuals and groups move through the transition
- Ensure policies and procedures are current with legislative changes and best practice
We are looking for someone who is:
- A forward-thinking leader who can mentor, manage and lead people in a collaborative manner driving a high-performance HR Team
- Can display resilience whilst working through challenging issues providing solutions and alternatives along the way
- Has the ability to be agile and flexible in your approach to work with a continuous improvement mindset
- Has HR qualifications and/or relevant business experience
- An excellent listener with strong negotiation, and presentation skills who can influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels
