Consumer Action Law Centre is also a leading community legal centre. Their dedicated and highly qualified team provide free legal advice and pursue litigation on behalf of people experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage across Victoria
The Director of Legal Practice will lead the legal service and a team of approx. 15 lawyers who provide telephone legal advice services to consumers and community workers and who conduct advocacy and strategic litigation including in higher courts.
Specifically you will:
You will be a qualified, experienced practice leader with, or with the ability to get a principal practising certificate. You will have managed legal teams and will have substantial experience in the conduct of litigation and dispute resolution. You will have demonstrated a commitment to social justice.
