We are seeking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader (FT - 38 hours per week), at our Claremont centre. Our operating hours are Mondays to Fridays between the hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm.

An excellent opportunity awaits a driven and energetic superstar who wants to be a part of a passionate team whose primary focus is providing a safe learning environment to children aligned to our way of working.

As the Room Leader, you will work alongside a team of Early Childhood Educators to deliver child focused care to children 0-6 years of age and ensure Educators adhere to all policies and procedures and support their development by providing supervision, mentoring, and leading by example. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the Early Childhood Curriculum and plan and implement accordingly.

About you

You are passionate about children's learning and development and are a leader who can bring out the best in others. You will have:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
  • A current first aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and self learning to achieve the best outcomes for children 
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills 
  • High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

If successful, you will need to possess a satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within six months and current WA Working with Children's Check.
