Voluntas Pty Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation that offers pro bono conflict resolution to the volunteering community. Voluntas recruits pro bono mediators matching experienced mediators with mediators seeking experience to deliver the conflict resolution programme “Constructive Conversations”. This service is provided to the volunteer sector to retain the skills and capabilities of valued trained and experienced volunteers, helping both volunteers and organisations.

Your Role

Voluntas is looking for a someone for approximately 1 day a week to assist us expand the service we provide. We are creating several online training modules for managers in the volunteering community. You will assist us with the initial set up and ongoing administration of this service. This includes conducting the online course module compilation, publishing the training, assisting with enquiries from trainees using the platform.

We will also be recruiting mediators, so we are looking for your assistance engaging and managing mediators for in house training. You will have the opportunity to utilise your organisational, and creative skills in this role, with some possible exposure to conflict resolution.

What will you do?

Work:

• Support creation of online training courses being developed.
• Prepare social media posts to promote conflict resolution services.
• Manage enquiries and intake for conflict resolutions.
• Manage enquiries by mediators enquiring about training.
• Scheduling and arranging training.
• Prepare intake documents for conflict management and conflict resolution processes including precedents.
• Be able to work independently and maintain confidence.
• Ad hoc work to support the above.

Additional information: 

• Frequency: 1 day a week, working remotely
• You will need to have your own laptop and phone along with an ABN to invoice Voluntas monthly.
