  • Classification: SCHADS Level 6 with a salary range of $102,653 - $107,178 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role

The Service Manager provides service delivery leadership and program management of the Head to Health Satellite Service. The Service Manager leads and partners with the Port Pirie team and wider stakeholders in ongoing evaluation and reviewing performance to achieve high quality service provision, outcomes, and integrate services into the local service system. Through high quality reporting standards, the Service Manager is responsible for managing guest flow, data capture and reporting, contract management, and governance.

The Head to Health Satellite service offers a transdisciplinary approach to supporting people. A lived experience and clinical workforce collaborate to come alongside guests and make sense of what is important in responding to needs and connecting in the community. To hold to fidelity of the Neami Head to Health model, the Service Manager plays a central role in facilitating a culture, environment, and service that fosters shared understanding, a commitment to learning, and new ways of exploring and offering support with people.

What you will bring to the role

  • Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e., Peer work, social work, Counselling or Human Services)
  • Understanding of Clinical and Lived Experience practice approaches and ability to explain these perspectives to foster collective learning.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and bring people together from different perspectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of mental health assessment and supporting consumers with presenting mental health concerns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to proactively address conflict, broker solutions, and receive and respond to feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to uphold ethical behaviour, integrity, and respectful interactions with guests, staff, and wider stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively in an agile or changing environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust to deal with sensitive and difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.
  • Ability to work productively in a fast paced, changing and agile environment.
  • Ability to establish respectful professional relationships that have clear boundaries with consumers, staff and partner organisations.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identifies changing needs within a group.
  • Strong experience in administration, evaluation, and program management processes.
