About the Role
- Negotiable Full Time or Part Time (0.9FTE), Permanent role
- Senior Management Specialist Remuneration Level 2 from $119,825 – $138,885 pro rata + super + salary packaging
- Location: To be negotiated (Strathpine or Ipswich)
The Regional Manager – South Queensland is based in Brisbane (Strathpine or Ipswich site) and will be responsible for the ongoing management and development of several service sites in South East Queensland. The Regional Manager sits as part of the senior leadership team for QLD.
You will have:
- Significant relevant experience, skills and/or tertiary qualifications in Human Services or a related area
- Demonstrated leadership capacity and the skill to manage several services in an environment of change, applying a range of management styles and strategies appropriate to the situation
- Well-developed and proven written and verbal skills, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Highly developed staff support, and supervision skills including extensive experience in reflective practice and demonstrated ability to coach managers in this area
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues relevant to people with psychiatric disabilities living in Southern Queensland communities with an understanding of recovery principles, and a strong commitment to consumer rights and their active participation in mental health services
- Demonstrated skill in the application of wellbeing principles to existing community mental health services
- Demonstrated ability to form partnerships at a local and regional level with government and non-government health and welfare service providers to pursue practical strategies to improve service delivery to consumers
- Demonstrated financial and project management skills
- High level competency in computer literacy
- Australian Police Check
- QLD Blue Card
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence
- Compliance with Public Health Vaccination Orders, including COVID-19 Vaccination
