  • Casual Employment.
  • Classification: SCHADS Level 4 of $51.95 - $55.91 per hour including casual loading + Superannuation.
  • Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits available for living and entertainment expenses increasing your take home income where part of your wage is paid tax free each pay, savings thousands in tax each year.
  • Location: Head Office Preston, VIC, however remote or hybrid working arrangements will be considered.

About your new role

The Finance Officer is responsible for ensuring that transactional accounting services are delivered consistently across the business with a high level of customer service. This role will ensure accounts payable, and monthly transactional accounting duties are performed accurately and on time. These activities also encompass development of and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

In addition, there will be a requirement to contribute to and participate in other projects as they occur. The Finance Officer will work collaboratively with all staff, and display initiative and drive to contribute to a culture of high performance.

This role has a strong service focus and requires an enquiring and articulate person with a high level of professionalism and integrity, positive attitude and team focus.

What you will bring to the role

  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Ability to process a high volume of transactions, quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated ability in ERP systems - experience with Technology One preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites with the ability to learn other systems and programs as required.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly effective interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Shows confidence, maturity, integrity and a high level of energy, enthusiasm and drive.
