Provide meaningful support for consumers working towards employment goals through Neami’s Workwell program!

The Employment Specialist role will be Working in partnership with the Continuity of Support (COS) program, which provides psychosocial support to people who have previously accessed PIR, PHAMS and D2DL and have been found “ineligible” for supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Neami National’s WorkWell programs support recovery through open employment. There are currently five WorkWell programs across greater Sydney. With the support from the Employment Services Manager and the WorkWell team, the Employment Specialist will work in the context of the Individual Placement and Support model (IPS); supporting the consumers working toward their individual employment goals. The principles of IPS are competitive employment, integration into a mental health team, individual preferences, zero exclusion, rapid-job search, job development, benefits counselling, and time-unlimited support.
