  • Classification: SCHADS Level 3 with a salary range of $71,215 - $76,353 per annum pro rata + Superannuation.

About your new role

Group programs are delivered through Neami's Day and Group (SA Health) contract. The position will coordinate, promote, prepare, facilitate, and evaluate a range of group-based psychosocial services to assist people living with a mental illness to build capacity, develop independent living skills, confidence and self-reliance.

What you will bring to the role

  • Ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of a diverse range of people and identify changing needs within a group.
  • Strong self-awareness and reflection to respond in ethical, person-centred, and appropriate ways.
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and maintaining respectful and purposeful relationships.
  • Ability to map experience/themes to design responses to meet individual and community needs.
  • Experience in group facilitation, or participation in wider community groups including the ability to respond to different needs within a group.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including computer competency.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to respond to complex or competing tasks in a timely way.

What the role requires

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered.
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work.
  • Current Australian drivers' licence and access to a car.
  • Australian working rights.
