  • Full-Time, Permanent Position
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Level 4 with salary range of: $129,487 - $146,836 per annum + Superannuation; or Health Professional Level 4 with a salary range of: $128,617 - $149,207 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role

The Clinical Services Manager (CSM) leads and manages the multidisciplinary Youth Enhanced Service (YES) team to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed and person-centred mental health care to young people in the Perth South Primary Health Network (PHN) region.

The CSM is responsible for service operations, clinical governance, quality improvement and external partnerships that support the safety, responsiveness and effectiveness of the YES program. The CSM will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager Operations Youth Services, internal Neami teams, and sector partners to ensure the service is responsive to local needs, reflects co-design outcomes, and meets contractual obligations.

A key function of the role during the establishment phase will be to support implementation activities including local service design, stakeholder engagement, recruitment, induction and service setup.

The CSM will oversee safety and support planning, supervision, and integrated service delivery across the diverse workforce of clinicians, lived experience peer workers, and operational support. In addition to team leadership responsibilities, the CSM may hold a small caseload to maintain direct client engagement and model high-quality, relational practice.

What you will bring to the role

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing
  • Accredited registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, ACA)
  • Extensive experience in leadership within youth mental health service delivery, including intake or assessment services
  • Demonstrated understanding of the developmental needs of young people aged 12-25 and ability to lead youth-centred, developmentally responsive services
  • Experience in trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally safe practice, including work with LGBTIQA+, neurodivergent and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
  • Strong clinical and operational leadership skills, including the ability to engender an inclusive, caring and productive team culture
  • Experience building and maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders, such as headspace, CAMHS, primary care, education and AOD services

What the role requires

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
  • Current AHPRA registration (for Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, or Mental Health Nurses), or
  • Full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) for Social Workers
  • Current Australian drivers licence and access to a car
  • Australian working rights
