- Full-Time Permanent Contract
- Classification: Registered Nurse Level 3, with salary range of $125,515 - $132,352 per annum + Superannuation OR
- Classification: Health Professional Level 3 with a salary range of $114,272 - $129,941 per annum + Superannuation

About your new role
The Clinical Lead is an exciting role responsible for leading clinicians to deliver high quality services to consumers experiencing mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs concerns.
In this CL role, you will be either a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Mental Health credentialled Allied Health Worker and will draw on your discipline skills to:
- Oversee clinicians in their engagement with consumers, the consumers treatment team, Neami and partner associate staff and family/friends/carers
- Provide high quality assessments andinterventions aimed at improving mental health and AOD outcomes for consumers
- Have oversight of the IAR, clinical assessments, collaborative care plan formulation and execution in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

The role also involves oversight of evaluation & reporting; contract, regulatory & organisational compliance; resource management; service development; sector leadership and continuous quality improvement.

What you will bring to the role
- Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Credentialled Mental Health Nurse
- Current full registration as a Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), OR
- Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), OR
- Current full registration as a Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW),
- Proven experience at managing clinical teams within the area of mental health and/or AOD service delivery
- Proven clinical experience to apply evidence-based interventions including understanding of theoretical concepts within mental health and AOD sciences and their application to mental health and AOD challenges.
- Experience working as a member of a multi- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation
- Demonstrated experience in preparation of reports with recommendations -
- Experience working across a range of Commonwealth and State funded mental health and/or AOD programs and ensuring program implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts
- Demonstrated ability to form and nurture partnerships with government and non-government mental health and/or AOD, emergency, and community service providers
- Knowledge of local services particularly relevant to designated program area
Desirable
- Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety policies and practices with the ability to assess and manage clinical, work health and safety, quality & organisational risk
- Knowledge of Equal Opportunities Legislation, policies, and practices
- Knowledge of Professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics: aware of and practicing within relevant Federal and State Legislation and the relevant Professional Code of Practice, Conduct and Ethics
