  • Part-Time, Permanent (0.6FTE)
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Level 3 with salary range of $125,515 - $132,352 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation OR
  • Classification: Health Professional Level3 with a salary range of $114,272 - $129,941per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation

About your new role

In the Clinical Lead role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for supporting the clinical oversight and leadership of the Medicare Mental Health phone service (MMHps).

The Clinical Lead will:

  • Guide the delivery of high-quality mental health intake, assessment, triage, and referral services for individuals
  • Connect people seamlessly to the most appropriate local service to meet their identified needs, consistent with the 'stepped care' approach.
  • Provide service coordination, guidance, planning, implementation, and problem solving for the MMHps Service
  • Provide supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff members.

You will play an active role in discipline knowledge sharing with your Neami colleagues and creating a reciprocal learning environment for staff.

As a member of the leadership team you will foster strategic partnerships within the community and have a key role in service development, evaluation, and improvement.

What you will bring to the role

  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or related
  • Current full registration as a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), OR
  • Current full registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with current annual practicing certificate from the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), OR
  • Current full registration as a Social Worker with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)

Desirable

  • Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health
  • Held positions of leadership in a clinical setting

What the role requires

  • National Criminal History Check (police check) - disclosable outcomes considered
  • Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
  • Australian working rights
  • A valid driver's licence
