the opportunity

An NDIS-funded Central Coast family is looking for an individual trained (or willing to train) in the evidence-based practice of Applied Behaviour Analysis, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and her reputable early childhood intervention company, based in Newcastle.

As part of the role, the individual would deliver in-home and in-childcare training for three hours each weekday across home and childcare environments on the Central Coast to a 3-year-old boy.

Some travel to Newcastle for initial training and monthly team meetings required, with transport provided.

If the successful applicant does not have previous experience, they will be required to complete this reputable, free, online Registered Behaviour Technician Course in the first few months of the role: see here.

You will be:

• Experienced as an ABA technician or;
• Studying or having studied a related field (ie occupational therapy, speech therapy, teaching, psychology) or;
• A professional, reliable parent looking to build a rewarding career and;
• Energetic with a passion for developing children, willingness to learn, compassionate.
• Armed with a Working With Children Check. Police Check and First Aid also highly desirable.
• Fully vaccinated to access to clinic and childcare environments.
