An exciting opportunity exists with Ngaanyatjarra Council Regional Housing Program (NCRHP) for a Tenancy Administration Officer to join our team based in Perth CBD. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated person with a strong interest in remote communities to make a real difference to the lives of Aboriginal people.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Scheduling property inspection details in Habitat software.
  • Preparing and sending property inspection notices / posters to community offices
  • Liaison with Community Development Advisors and other team members in relation to community and tenancy matters
  • Processing endorsement forms to exempt inspections, in line with KPI deadlines
  • Digitally filing all tenancy forms within object navigator system and internal systems
  • Manage property inspection schedules via Power Bi System
  • Manage and update lands team whereabouts calendar 
  • Tenancy meeting minute keeping
  • Assist in raising property maintenance where required
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement
  • Supervision and maintenance of allocated Lands team task lists using appropriate software
  • Liaison with NG and External Service providers to achieve positive outcomes
  • Document weekly debt statistics, via Power BI reports, to identify accounts requiring action
  • Manage all rent and repairs accounts on a weekly basis, to achieve set targets in maintaining rental payments and reducing overall debt

About you

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of tenancies, preferred
  • Strong administration skills and experience, essential
  • Effective communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a high standard of organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
