The successful incumbent will assist both medical and nursing staff under the direction of the senior medical officer and nursing team leader in technical procedures and associated tasks.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Well-developed time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with set deadlines.
  2. Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently.
  3. Demonstrated good communication skills in English and the ability to read and understand essential documentation.
  4. Previous experience in health care and/or education in health related field.
  5. Demonstrated computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills.
  6. Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays, able to work reasonable overtime.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
