An exciting Permanent Part Time position is available to join the team in the Endoscopy Unit as a Sterilisation Technician at Nepean Hospital. Within this role, you will be involved in the preparation, storage and workings in Endoscopy and the distribution of Endoscopes and other equipment and are trained and educated to enable them to correctly undertake each step in the process.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment and problem solve
  2. Sterilising services certificate and experience working in a hospital sterilisation department
  3. Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience in ability to work in a busy environment keeping to a tight time frame
  4. Knowledge and understanding of ISO/Australian Standards and GENCA Infection control guidelines
