Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Security Service is seeking to engage qualified Security Officers to join their team. Our Security staff are committed in contributing to the successful delivery of safe and patient centred care within our services and facilities by creating and maintaining a safe environment for our patients, staff, volunteers, visitors within the communities we operate in.
The successful incumbent will conduct security patrols of the building and grounds of the facility including escorting staff and visitors as necessary. You will utilise your ability in managing aggressive behaviour and/or difficult people to ensure a safe and secure environment.
This position will be required to conduct security reports/audits and perform security duties in accordance with the Security Industry Act and relevant policies and procedures.
