On offer is a Permanent Part time position for a Registered Nurse to join the Gastroenterology Ambulatory Care Clinic (GACC). The incumbent will work in conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and advanced trainee in providing direct clinical care to patients in the service. The Registered Nurse administers infusions and transfusions under the mentorship of the CNC.
As a Registered Nurse, you will assist in managing GACC patients to avoid unnecessary presentation to the Emergency Department and subsequent admission to the ward especially with those having recurrent abdominal fluid accumulation and needs for periodic transfusions.
Working in the GACC Team will allow you to meet the needs of staff, patients and their families whilst working in a diverse team demonstrating CORE values and providing exceptional person-centered care.
