An opportunity has become available for an Intern Pharmacist to join the Nepean Pharmacy team on a temporary full time basis up until 30 June 2026. The Nepean Pharmacy department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to patients during their admission to hospital and for those attending outpatient clinics. The dedicated pharmacy team work collaboratively to provide medications in a safe and timely manner with a focus on patient-centred care.
The Clinical Trials Intern Pharmacist will play a key role in supporting the coordination of a comprehensive Clinical Trials pharmacy service for patients enrolled in Clinical Trials at Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD). You will provide high quality clinical trials and research pharmaceutical services to patients across a broad range of clinical therapeutic areas.
This will include supporting pharmacy related activities that are necessary to meet accreditation to the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework. The role will be an important junior member of the Nepean Hospital pharmacy team, providing specialist knowledge and skills for the pharmacy service and working closely with the Clinical Trials Pharmacist in supporting the development of systems and processes for clinical trials.
