The opportunity

  • National Positive Behaviour Support is a registered NDIS provider of behaviour support services.
  • We are seeking a senior behaviour support practitioner with 2+ years experience, with the motivation, experience and skills to support a team of behaviour support practitioners.

Role Requirements

  • 2+ Years of experience
  • Relevant qualifications and registered with NDIS as a behaviour support practitioner
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience and skills in behaviour support, including developing and implementing behaviour support plans, and other reports
  • Ability to build rapport and form relationships with a variety of stakeholders including individuals, families, carers, staff and other health professionals
  • Knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission requirements around restrictive practices
  • Skills and experience in providing behaviour management strategies
  • Ability to coach other practitioners whilst maintaining a moderate case load
