The Student Wellbeing Officer will be the main point of contact for general welfare and academic enquiries from students and staff and will take the lead on student wellbeing, welfare and NAS’ education provision.
You will have experience assisting students with their welfare, counselling and learning requirements in an Academic setting. You will have knowledge of behaviour, psychological and wellbeing theories and practices relevant to students. You will have a focus on prevention, intervention, student learning and actively connect with internal and external networks to build, develop and maintain best practice. You will have the ability to make independent decisions on how to respond to queries, provide short-term counselling to students and to direct students to other internal and external services and make referrals as appropriate.
