NACCHO is looking for 2 Senior Project Officers, these roles will have the opportunity to contribute to improving workforce and training opportunities within the sector for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Senior Project Officers will be a part of a team that supports the coordination and delivery of a range of workforce and training programs including the First Nations Health Worker Traineeship, RTO Capacity Building program, National Training Resource Build and other workforce programs.

Position 1: To be strong contender for this role, you will have experience working in the VET sector or VET and higher education sector, with strong organisation and engagement skills and an ability to work well as part of a team in a rapidly evolving environment.

Position 2: To be a strong contender for this role, you will have contract and project management experience. You will have strong organisation skills and work well as part of a team in a rapidly evolving environment.

Qualifications, technical expertise and experience required

  • Experience working in the VET and higher education sector.
  • Relevant qualifications desirable but not essential.
