NAAJA Throughcare aims to reduce repeat offending by supporting Aboriginal people through strengths-based case management service provision.
NAAJA Throughcare are seeking to employ an Intensive Case Manager – youth to provide case management support to young people aged 10-17 who are in contact with the youth justice system.
The Intensive Case Manager will work with NAAJA’s wider youth team to provide culturally safe, client-centred and trauma-informed support to children and young people as they navigate the complexities of the NT Youth Justice System. This position will support young people on remand or sentenced to reconnect to culture, family and community and to break the cycle of reoffending.
The successful applicant will have a commitment to social justice principles and a proven ability to support young people in contact with the criminal justice system. The position requires a multi-skilled, self-motivated person who has an understanding of Aboriginal culture.
