My Specialised Accommodation Solutions (MySAS) is a Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) managed service company that manages a portfolio of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) assets on behalf of MAM.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a form of housing that is designed to enable eligible National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants to receive the support they need to live in the community and improve the delivery of their supports.

Participants who are eligible for SDA funding are those with extreme functional impairment or those who have very high support needs.

MySAS currently manages a portfolio of over 200 high quality SDA dwellings in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia with a future secured in growth and expansion. Our property design and premium locations ensure optimal living environments and community participation.

About the role

Reporting to the National Customer Experience Lead, the Customer Service Specialist role focuses on coordinated service provision for people with a disability seeking to commence their SDA journey with MySAS and the continual support of new customers transitioning towards tenancy in their new home.

Essential to the role are highly developed customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Building relationships with people with a disability, their representatives, their family and support teams, key stakeholders and sector networks are critical to this role.

Integral to this role is sourcing potential tenants, which requires active engagement with NDIS participants and key professionals. The role requires creative thinking and excellent networking skills to secure tenants for MySAS properties through a variety of engagement activities.

The role requires frequent interstate travel and the use of a private vehicle. Please refer to the position description for further details.

About you

You are an experienced customer service professional and possess the personal drive and determination to ensure that MySAS customers receive exceptional personalised service.

You are highly motivated and an excellent communicator. You are passionate about the customer experience and you pride yourself on your time management and organisational skills, which enable you to work autonomously and as part of an energetic, ambitious and growing team.

Your approach to your work is based on strong ethical values and you demonstrate your strength-based approach to person-centered service delivery and customer goal outcomes.

Your understanding of customer service principles, including effective communication, empathy, responsiveness, innovation, quick thinking, flexibility and willingness to work collaboratively with your colleagues feature strongly in your work.
