mycause is Australia’s most successful crowdfunding platform for causes with over 2500 charity partners and a comprehensive registration and peer to peer fundraising platform. 

Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic and collaborative professional with experience in community fundraising and third party platforms. You will have a passion for creating online events and continual improvement in the user’s online experience. You will be responsible for managing client’s ongoing use of the mycause platform by maintaining and creating enduring relationships for clients including charities, schools, NFPs and corporates.

Role starting as soon as possible. 

Key selection criteria

  • Experience in fundraising both at grass roots and strategic levels
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets
  • Ability to design campaigns using the bespoke mycause website builder
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills, and customer service experience and practice
  • Positive, constructive, “can do” attitude
  • Having the right to live and work in Australia

Education requirements:

Qualifications that are highly regarded but not compulsory include:

  • Fundraising qualifications
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Business and Commerce
  • Administration

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years experience in fundraising or marketing for a NFP or third party provider.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian philanthropic giving environment, and an understanding of best practice fundraising.
  • Skills, knowledge, innovation and experience in preparing presentations.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, including a strong customer focus and the ability to develop effective relationships resulting in client satisfaction.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral, and high level interpersonal skills.
  • Proven high-level attention to detail and follow through with the ability to exercise initiative.
  • Demonstrate practical experience in website and online competency to tight deadlines.
  • High energy levels with the appetite to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
  • Capability to develop and promote ideas and concepts.
