Currently, we are seeking a physiotherapist with a passion for providing comprehensive and holistic care to people in the disability sector. 

This is a new position to support the expansion of our services. The right person will join a dedicated team of Physiotherapists within our Bunbury hub, striving to maximise client’s independence and function. While the initial three months of the contract will be to provide leave cover, thereafter exists the opportunity to develop and expand the range of services we offer in the area. It is a 12-month, full time contract with the real possibility of being converted to a permanent position.

The responsibilities of the job include:

  • Completion of assessments
  • Exercise prescription
  • Provision of intensive and functional rehabilitation programmes with the opportunity to promote and facilitate gym, hydrotherapy, recreational and wellness programmes within the community.
  • Providing supervision and support for physiotherapy assistants and massage staff.

Essential criteria:

  • Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Police Clearance
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence and transport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Current CPR Certificate

Desirable criteria

  • Working knowledge of NDIS
