Youthrive Victoria is seeking an inspirational leader to lead a small highly capable team, with a commitment to making a positive difference and impact on rural young people and their communities. We are looking for someone who is passionate about empowering the lives and futures of rural and regional Victorian youth. The successful candidate will have the interpersonal and leadership qualities, commercial acumen, humility to serve and the determination to continue to deliver real impact.

Youthrive Victoria provides opportunities for young rural and regional Victorians to build knowledge, skills, leadership capacity and aspirations. We offer university, vocational and community scholarships; leadership development opportunities; transition, career and community mentoring for secondary school students; aspiration building workshop for primary school students; connections and wrap-around care for young people as they transition from school into adult lives to explore higher education and vocational career options. We also host unique blended online/in-person community for 16 – 30-year-olds to create meaningful connections and opportunities for personal development to help young Victorians achieve their full potential.

Our new CEO will lead in an environment that is values based and relationship driven, and be prepared to travel, roll up their sleeves and work alongside and empower our young people. They will collaborate with partners, donors, communities, and alumni in delivering programs that support rural and regional Victorians become resilient, informed thought leaders and develop skills that will help them build stronger communities and networks. We believe in capacity building and mentorship and offer wrap around care and support designed to see young people thrive.

We are looking for the right person to continue to roll out our current strategic plan over the next 18 – 24 months with the ambitious goal of scaling the Rural Youth Network across the state and double the number of scholarships we provide to young rural and regional Victorians next year.
