Melissa Rafferty Psychology has a strong focus on reaching all aspects of our community, one person at a time. We are committed to ensuring psychological assessment and support is accessible and affordable for all. As such, we offer bulk billed support to clients that are unable to afford to pay, or for whom cost would be a deterrent for accessing help. 

So far this has worked exceptionally well. So well, in fact, that I am currently seeking another staff member to help attend to the ever-increasing number of referrals from our local area. If this endeavour aligns to your work ethic and to your mission as a psychologist, I Want To Hear From You!

I am looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about helping people, mental health, and community support.
• Experienced in working as a psychologist, ideally with a background in ACT and CBT therapeutic frameworks (3 year minimum).
• Able to demonstrate autonomous work skills, excellent time management, self-management of diaries and schedules.
• Highly skilled in report preparation, correspondence with referring bodies, communicating with peers and other professionals.
• Experienced in both assessment and treatment practices in psychology, especially across the lifespan as we are receiving more and more referrals for child and family intervention and support.
• Experienced in administering cognitive assessments and related report preparation.

Salary is calculated up to 60% of individual billing income, and open to further discussions for the right candidate.

Capacity to work after 2.30 PM up to early evening on weekdays, or Saturday work, considered highly favourably, but not essential.
