The Role

Reporting to the Academic Director of PACE in the Macquarie Business School, you will lead a small team working at the front line with students, partner organisations, unit convenors, and other Macquarie staff to manage all aspects of the operational implementation and maintenance of the PACE initiative in the Macquarie Business School.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong reciprocal relationships within the Business School, across the University and beyond to the wider community of partners. You will implement a faculty partner development plan to ensure the sustainability of the PACE program; develop and implement administrative systems and processes and provide support to Unit Convenors in the development and delivery of PACE activities and report on PACE activities in the Faculty.

The substantive occupant of this position has been seconded to undertake related work elsewhere in the University until mid-March 2020.

About You

As the successful candidate you will have demonstrated experience in project and/or program management including exposure to the tertiary education section and preferably to student placements or internships. You will have demonstrated experience in engaging with internal and external partners and in developing and implementing strategic and operational plans.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and strategically with others;
  2. Extensive experience in project management, managing change and implementing change management principles;
  3. High level capacity for building and managing effective and reciprocal relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing a team and creating a positive, collaborative and solution focussed team culture complex organisation;
  5. Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, management and mitigation, preferably in the delivery of programs in the tertiary sector; and
  6. Extensive experience in developing, implementing and evaluating business and administrative processes and policies in line with regulatory and governance frameworks.
