We are looking for a customer service superstar to provide support and advice to the Library’s customers in provision of lending services, primarily on weekends.
Your day to day will involve shelve and shelf-check library items, dealing effectively and efficiently with external stakeholders including customer service requests, answering general and directional enquiries and transactions.
You will also occasionally contribute to library programmes and events.
Working hours are Saturday and Sunday, 9:30am - 4:30pm. One 5.5-hour shift will be completed Monday - Friday, and this da will be negotiated with the successful
candidate.
To be successful in this role you will hold a higher school certificate or equivalent.
You will bring a strong team orientation, with good organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
You will also hold good interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
In addition to the above, you will hold a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People
Act 1998 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
