About the role

A highly competent and professional After-Hours Care Manager is sought to oversee the delivery and continuity of clinical care at our expansive Hunters Hill facility on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

Reporting to the General Manager Residential Care Services this position plays a key management role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents, staff and visitors through;

  • Leading and guiding staff in emergency situations
  • Provide clinical advice, guidance and support to nursing staff
  • Mentor clinical staff, promoting best practice
  • Assume the Chief Fire Warden responsibilities

About you:

  • Registered Nurse with current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Proven expertise in leadership, supervision and management
  • Knowledge and experience in aged care and the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
  • Advanced communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong computer skills
