Monash Health National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Program supports people who have a disability, to help them in their daily life, participate in the community and reach their personal goals. The NDIS program comprises of support coordination, allied health services for both children and Adults. The NDIS Team operates out of several Monash Health Community sites including Springvale, Cranbourne, Pakenham, within participant’s homes as well as providing supports within community facilities.
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 2 Speech Therapist to work in our Children’s NDIS Team in a permeant full-time position. This position is available now, however a start date can be negotiated!
The NDIS Speech Pathologist is responsible for directly providing Speech Therapy services and a seamless experience to our participants’, as well as supporting them to access the full benefits of their NDIS plans to build their independence and skills. The NDIS Speech Therapist will see NDIS participants with a range of disabilities such as (but not limited to) acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, progressive neurological conditions, intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, and autism spectrum disorder.
