Working in Healthcare has never been more important or meaningful.
The Casey Area Mental Health Service is led by an innovative and supportive leadership team seeking to provide a high-quality recovery-based model of mental health care that will continue to develop with our growing community in the South East growth corridor. Teams are based in both inpatient and community sites offering collaborative care to clients experiencing mental health difficulties within our area.
Narre Warren EPARCS is a 10 bed subacute community-based residential recovery program that is operated in partnership with Wellways. Consumers can stay at EPARCS for up to 6 months.
This is a great opportunity to join the team in an ongoing, part time role working 48 hours a fortnight. Staff work from 0830-1700 and the team provides a comprehensive multi-disciplinary recovery program on an individual and group basis, which incorporates comprehensive assessment and delivery of evidence-based treatment and onward referral for people who are experiencing mental health issue across and psychosocial disability across the 25-64 age range. Interventions are tailored to individual consumer and family needs as well as circumstances.
This is a great opportunity to come and join a dynamic team and see what working in EPARCS is all about. The position is open to Social Worker, grade 2, with a working history in Mental Health and recovery-oriented practice. Drawing on your knowledge of social work theory and practice, and being supported by a Senior Social Worker, you will provide specialist input to the EPARCS consumers and team, and be an advocate with broader community support services.
You enjoy working independently and in a multi-disciplinary team within your approved scope of practice so as to provide safe, evidence-based assessment, outcome measures and therapeutic care. You are timely in managing your work and with an eye for detail you know the importance of information/data being correct – be it written or verbal.
