About Intensive Care Units:

Monash Medical Centre, Clayton boasts a busy 22 funded-bed Medical/ Surgical tertiary unit specialising in Neuro Surgery, Obstetrics and Upper GI Surgery

Dandenong Hospital is a 10 funded- bed general Medical/Surgical unit specialising in Colorectal, Orthopaedic and Plastic/ENT post op surgical care.

Casey Hospital is a 9 funded-bed general Medical/ Surgical unit specialising in Urology post op surgical care

Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH) As the first dedicated cardiac intensive care service in Australia with a state-of-the-art 16 bed Cardiothoracic care unit,

About the Role

We are excited to announce new opportunities for Registered Nurses with the August 2023 Intensive Care Postgraduate Program within Intensive Care Units at:

  • Monash Medical Centre, Clayton
  • Dandenong Hospital
  • Casey Hospital
  • Victorian Heart Hospital

These are Part Time, Fixed Term roles with the potential for ongoing employment opportunities, working across supported clinical shifts within the unit to support completion of your postgraduate studies.

About You

We are seeking candidates with nursing experience in ICU or acute care areas that will see you flourish in our units. Bring your passion and genuine interest into this acute field and provide high quality patient care.

As someone with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and personal values, your contribution will be valued as we support each other and our organisation to be leaders in our field, offering progressive treatment and care.

You are adaptable to a changing environment as we work together to deliver first class service.

Alongside your caring and engaging manner, you have a positive work attitude, strong communication skills and a strong people-person focus allowing you to engage with our patients and their families.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • ICU experience (preferable)
  • Australian working Rights
