About the Role
The Admin Officer helps keep our organisation running smoothly every day. You will work closely with the CEO and the team, making sure our office is organised, meetings and events are set up properly, and helping with simple admin tasks.

What You'll Do
- Help with everyday office tasks like answering phones, sorting mail, filing papers, and keeping our calendar organised.
- Support the team with setting up meetings, events, workshops, and gatherings — this might include booking venues, organising transport, sending invitations, and organising food and drinks.
- Help make sure our records are kept tidy and up to date.
- Support with preparing basic reports or simple finances if needed (training can be provided).
- Help keep our office safe and follow workplace health and safety rules.
- Support the CEO and other staff when they need admin help.
- Help keep our workplace running smoothly and look for ways we can do things better.
What We're Looking For
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
- Passion and commitment to supporting First Nations mob with disabilities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Can work well by yourself and also as part of a team.
- Friendly and respectful with people from all walks of life.
- Some understanding of disability and how it impacts our mob.
- Able to use basic computer programs like Microsoft Word, Outlook, and SharePoint (or willing to learn).
- Disability Worker Screening (or willing to get this).

Desirable Criteria
- Experience in office work, admin, or bookkeeping.
- Experience using accounting programs like Xero.
- Experience helping to organise events or meetings.
- Experience with social media (like Facebook or Instagram) to help share our messages.
- Lived experience of disability.
- Understanding of the community, disability, or support services sector.
