We are seeking a person to work with a committed workforce, responsible for providing  information and support to people living with MND, family members and health and  community care providers from across NSW and the ACT. This position, based at  Gladesville, will be responsible for the operation of the “Info Line” and a such be the  gateway to the organisation”. 

In addition role maintains and develops information resources in a variety of formats,  ensuring all resources remain accurate and accessible.   

Do you have:

• Tertiary health, disability or community care related qualifications or relevant experience
• Understanding of health, disability and aged care systems
• Excellent verbal communication skills and phone manner
• Demonstrated experience developing information resources and managing publications
• Excellent writing skills with proven ability to adapt writing styles for different audiences 
• Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and ability to juggle competing priorities
• Proven record keeping experience using a client management system
• Proficient IT skills, software and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and to work as a team
• Knowledge of MND, while an advantage is not a prerequisite as training and a comprehensive orientation program will be provided.
